Three of us entered and we all felt moved to buy a piece of art at this fantastic gallery. Each artist had something special to offer. We accidentally left 1 piece behind. Sylvia googled me and called to let us know! So kind! We look at it as a wonderful excuse to return. Thank you for this display!

I've been in this Gallery 3 times now, and each time I have left with something.
The staff are excellent, friendly and very knowledgeable on the artists work that are displayed. There is a varity of Arts & Crafts.
If you are expecting the usual, stark naked, almost empty Gallery with very little in it, except for the paintings on the wall, brace yourself for, here it comes, you will not find that in this Gallery.
It is a quaint, homey, crafty Gallery and reeks with love of community artisans talents and skills. Comparable to any artists of standard and professionalism.
It is a beautiful building, that the gallery is in. A must see location, if visiting Grand Falls. And there is something affordable for most everyone.
I did read the other reviews.....I think they gave up on giving a cuppa tea.

We went to this gallery many times to view works from our local artisits. On this particular occasion we were celebrating my daughter, Alyciah Bourgoin’s, premier art exhibition for up and coming young artists. She did her exhibit in memory of her beloved art teacher Marlene T. Kay.
Amazing talent on display in this gallery.

Neat to see arts and crafts from artisans in the area. Not too much in the way of pottery but were other handicrafts, panting.

Visited this with our kids and left with a few gifts for an upcoming wedding. Lots of variety, from pottery to paintings etc.....nice variety. They offer various workshops from painting for kids to "sip and paint" (have a glass of wine while you learn to paint....what could be better ?) to weaving and more. If you're around for a few days - enquire about their workshops. The gallery is worth visiting for sure.

This is an excellent place to spend an hour or so, and learn, about this town. Also the arts on display are really something. You can even purchase items for gifts of a life time. If time permits you will also be serve, a fine cup of TEA.

This is an impressive new showcase for about 20 local artisans displaying fine craft and art in an historic building just off the main drag (Broadway) and not far from the Falls. Purchases are tax-free as the gallery operates as a co-op and it is staffed by the artists themselves. Acanthus also offers art and craft classes and serves a fine cup of tea. In short: irresistible and well worth a visit!
BTW, even though the very nice woman working there explained what an acanthus is and showed me a sample, I still had to look it up. "A common plant in southern Europe whose stylized leaves form the characteristic decoration on Corinthian capitals and, commonly, wooden furniture. Acanthus symbolizes immortality in Mediterranean countries."
