Rocks
Feb. 2021
The rocks here are not eroded at all!! As there is little water to erode the rocks. Better with water!!

Waterfall
Sep. 2019
The river is quite low in September. The gorge is very impressive and I’m sure must be very impressive in the spring when the water is flowing at much higher levels. Still worth seeing at anytime.

Worth a stop
Aug. 2019 • Couples
Grand Falls waterfalls is a large waterfalls and rugged rock gorge which is a must stop. A hydrodam at the falls regulates water flow plus flow varies due to time of season. There is a Visitor centre on site with free parking and picnic tables. There are several viewing platforms to enjoy the falls as well as a zip line to ride across the gorge. Well worth a stop.

Rugged beauty in Grand Falls
Aug. 2019 • Family
Wow....can’t believe we have not taken the time to visit Grand Falls New Brunswick in our travels over the years. This is a definite MUST VISIT. Well worth a half day rest stop or stay for the evening if you can.

Simply stunningly rugged rick and waterfall gorge that just oozes with nature’s beauty. The Visitor Center is well laid out and there is even a Zip Line to the other side of the gorge and back if you want to experience a real adrenaline rush. Don’t be fooled....it is not as scary as it seems.

One of New Brunswick’s hidden gems that too few know about!
Signed.....a long time camper.

Neat
Aug. 2019
It was neat to see the gorge. It would be very impressive in the spring, with the gates open, but was still something to see in August

Impressive
Jun. 2019 • Couples
These falls are the most impressive during early spring when the thaw is in full swing. In June you still get the roar but it is much diminished. Great place to impress the young ones. You can walk along the gorge later.

Lots of water in May
May 2019 • Couples
The water level can vary on these beautiful falls. When we saw them in May the flow was about 9/10 of that of Niagara Galls. In the summer a lot of the water is held back by a dam so that only a trickle falls.
There is a parking lot with picnic tables with a great view of the falls just as you go over the river. In May all amenities nearby are closed.

Falls are season dependent
Sep. 2018 • Couples
Depending on the time of year that you visit you will see larger or smaller amounts of water going over the falls. Spring runoff produces large falls, summer dry spells produce a bunch of wet rocks. We saw the wet rocks version. The hydro dam at the top of the falls regulates the water flow. The canyon beside the falls is still worth seeing.

View Not to Be Missed
Aug. 2018 • Family
I've driven past Grand Falls so many times taking trips down "Home" and this year we finally stopped at Grand Falls. Fantastic views, and the museum (opens at 930 am) is full of most interesting facts about the Falls and surrounding areas. Beautiful scenery. Love it
