Glebe House offers a wonderful afternoon for those who enjoy art exhibitions, and interior design. The gallery is light and there is space to enjoy the displayed artworks. The house is preserved just as the last owner (Derek Hill, the artist and art collector) left it. This house is full of beautiful pictures, objects of art and curiosities. In fine... More

Globe House is a really lovely place to visit. Our tour guide was very good with a lovely sense of humour. It was evident that she knew Derek Hill personally and admired him. The grounds are really nice. The gallery is good and the tea rooms are great. Well worth a visit!

We started with coffee and cake, and all was well. The tea/coffee room is cosy and the staff are great. the homemade cakes are all delicious. Yes I tasted most of them over the 2 visits. The house and gallery were very much worth the visit. I look forward to going back again. So much to take in.

Visited here as a group of 12 adults and children for afternoon tea. Superb location. Beautiful quaint cafe with the most delicious home baked food to suit all tastes. Spent an hour exploring the vast grounds by the lake. A hidden gem with the warmest of welcomes.

Underestimated, great information on the man, Derek Hill, not just his great artistry. Very detailed tour information, so enjoyable and the items on display, just fantastic. Definitely worth a visit.

We visited Glebe House and Gallery, Lough Garton, Glenveagh National Park. Unfortunately the gallery was closed as they were installing a new exhibition. However, we were expertly escorted around the house by an extremely knowledgeable tour guide. This is the home of Derek Hill a keen collector of art and a painter himself. There are a few rooms decorated with... More

This gallery is about 10 miles from Letterkenny and is situated in a beautiful, scenic part of Donegal. Having been in the house some time ago, our visit this time was to view the portraits on display at the Glebe Gallery. We were not disappointed. Not really a portrait fan, I was interested to see this exhibition as it had... More

Had a fantastic day exploring the house with Clare our guide. The house and grounds are beautiful. Never knew there where so many different types of wall paper, the back to front loo was amusing as well. The gardens are well laid out with a lake for there center piece. Don't forget to look for the tree with its own... More
