This place is a great piece of local history I think it is one of the only a handful left in the country, it is an amazing feat of engineering we could learn a lot about renewable energy from this place. The staff are excellent...More

We arrived to find the car parks empty, there are two free carparks for visitors mind you, so parking should not be an issue, one each side the river. First though, a quick visit to the loo after the journey. They were spotless and fresh....More

Took a short tour and enjoyed learning the history. A little over my head as far as the mechanics but still fun. And it is free.

A free tour for a start, Great restoration of the mills. Very informative on the history and processes of the mill. It has to be a must visit if you are in the area

This was a wonderful experience to see the old ways of processing the flax and the corn by the use of the waterwheels. It was a good insight into this important industry. And it was free.
