For Mothers Day my sis, mam and I went to Bunratty staying in the nearby holiday homes. The castle was a 5 minute walk away and although were were hesitant and found it a little cringey at first, we weren't long getting into the spirit of it. This is a great night and although seems quite expensive, you get a... More

We visited while on a group tour and loved the entertainment. It's a fun night out of eating, drinking and watching the actors perform and sing. Food was pretty good and the service was great. Would definitely go again!

Seeing an upper level of the castle for music and mead was fun. Dinner was an outstanding experience. I thought it was unique, fun, delicious and entertaining. Exit through a lower level for coffee. Definitely not for guests in a wheelchair. Very accommodating staff.

Well worth the price of admission. The meal was really good and the entertainment was a lot of fun. They plan out the evening very well. Make sure you book these tickets well in advance. They are usually get sold out and tourists who are visit the castle for the day get disappointed because they can't get tickets.

Great night, wonderful entertainment and singers but the food is awful. Terrible spare ribs and awful dessert, hard cheesecake. wine is like vinegar

Great Dinner show. Before your meal and show, they serve Mead and small appetizers in the main hall. Wine is served with dinner. You eat with your hands and a knife. Show is fun and entertaining. Coffee is served after the show and they have someone playing the Bagpipes as you leave.

A fun group experience. We went in a group which booked the entire castle for the evening. The performers all dressed in period and spoke as if in the day, very talented and fun.Expect an interactive evening. We started the evening with a welcome which included history of the castle as well as a musical welcome. We were then escorted... More

We attended the Bunratty Castle Medieval Banquet on the 7th November 2016 at 17.30. This is our 4th visit in the last 36 years. A long climb up a winding staircase brought us to a open plan medieval room where we were served mead and brown bread with salt by a "Lady" in traditional dress.. Two other staff were entertaining... We visited Bunratty Castle following a recommendation on the same day whilst holidaying and touring in Ireland. Having not researched it we did not know what to expect. The castle itself is small and has little in the way of grounds or gardens immediately adjacent to it. It's situated on a main road and on the other side of the... More

I have always wanted to go to a medieval banquette, and when I learned of the Bunratty medieval banquet, I knew I had to take advantage on my visit to Ireland. When you arrive you are greeted by costumed performers, accent and speech as authentic as I imagined...brought to the great hall for honey mead (wine) very strong... And entertained... More
