We made a special trip here like many. The park is peaceful and well maintained. We truly appreciated the signs explaining the history of the keep. We spent more time here than we did in other "better" castles due to the gardens, roses, quiet paths....More

This is a terrific spot for a scenic walk along the water's edge. You cross a lovely arched stone bridge over the river, then pass O'Doherty's Keep built in the 1400s. Keep going down the path. You may see the cows grazing in the field....More

This is a beautiful walk down by the Crana River with beautiful flowers at this time of year. The Keep is a ruins which blends into the park area. You can walk on up to Ned's Point from here too.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Buncrana Heritage Trail which includes O' Doherty's Keep and castle, a very pleasant walk and worth a visit.
