We were lucky enough to plan a trip to lahinch when the sun shone all week. It's such a beautiful clean beach and we enjoyed watching the fun everyone on mid term break was having at surfing school. So relaxing. Great place for a relaxing break with beautiful scenery.

We loved visiting this beach!! So beautiful. You can walk along it, sit and watch the surfers or surf yourself! And everyone you meet is so friendly.

WE arrived here in the evening and settled into a restaurant(Waves) with awesome views. The sun was setting and the waves were crashing which made for a picturesque scene. Soon we noticed that people were out surfing despite the cold temperatures. This beach was nice surprise since it wasn't on our itinerary!

Lahinch beach is a really fun place to spend some time, either walking, running or just hanging out and watching the surfers. Regardless of the Irish weather, the beach never disappoints. Lots of reinforcement work being done to hold back the forces of nature to erode it.

Fabulous beach, great for beginner surfers, but also for a walk or run - sometimes the tide comes right up though so take care!

Even in January, this large beach front, dotted with surf schools, had quite a few visitors. Be it locals out for a jog or stroll along the sand, or the numerous participants of the surf schools braving the chilled waves, there was quite a bit of activity. Still a small amount of construction going on to ease beach access after... More
