I often take the kids on adventures up Corrin Hill. It's a hilly walk on a wide track. There are tracks through the woods too which the kids like exploring. There has been a lot of trees cut down in the past few years but they are making a comeback. The walk from the car park to the cross at... More

My Wife and I went today to Corrin Hill for the first time and loved it. We walked for about 5 miles on all the trails and went to the top where the cross is twice. It's a lovely wooded walk and makes you feel like your miles away from civilization. It is steep in parts but worth the exertion... More

Great place to ramble, ensure you have good shoes. When you reach the top there are amazing view over Fermoy and the local area. Best on a sunny day though....

If your staying somewhere near the beutiful town of Fermoy. Then do not miss the short walk from the parking place up to the on top of Corrin Hill. There's a stunning view over the Blackwater Valley and the town of Fermoy. It was a bit of grey and dull day. But the view over the valley below was absolutely... More

This is a great walk, we do it every month or so with our dog. From the top there are great views of the Blackwater valley, Fermoy and the Galtee mountains. The forestry felled a large amount of the evergreen trees a few years back, since then a lot of the traditional heather, ferns, gorse and course mountain grass has... More

Nice walk, and place to have a picnic. Quite a steep walk for little ones, but my kids enjoyed finding the stations of the cross and also enjoyed sitting at the cross at the top and looking at the views, which are amazing on a clear day. There are a lot of paths thru the woods, which made for a... More

Corrine hill is brilliant for both walkers and mountain bikers. You have a 5k loop that ascends to the cross where you have spectacular views of the Galtee mountains and the surrounding landscape. If you are in a mountain bike you descend rapidily to the base (priests walk I think) and can hurtle your bike through the forest. There are... More

There is a very good loop walk with opportunity for a much longer walk if so wished. The scenery from this hill is spectacular, with views across the Blackwater Valley, the Galtees, the Nagles, and the Knockmealdown mountains. There is a cross at the summit and a cairn beside this cross. It is beside the golf club and one can... More
