I am unable to walk far so my partner pushed me around the red route in my wheel chair. It was so peaceful and beautiful. We finished with a coffee and tea which was simple.

We love it here. The children love doing the hunts around the pool and playing in the parks, and the grown ups love the views around the lake and the delicious cream tea at the end! Great value day out. Beautiful on a sunny day...More

The car park is free. Thank goodness as the entry fee is £7 per person. For this price you get to walk around a muddy path( it had rained so maybe would have been more pleasant if dry) and to see the the blue pool...More

No, we never saw any boats and I would have thought that entering the water was forbidden, its not that type of lake .

I'll try and add some pictures of the playground. The fairy trail kept my 3 1/2 yr old walking!
