A lovely nature walk

Although the pool isn't always blue there is a lovely nature walk around it and as you walk the pool changes worth a visit

We had a very pleasant walk around the Blue Pool and no, it's not always that colour - though it does seem to change colour as you go around it. It is the sort of place where you could wander for quite a while, or take a picnic and sit overlooking the pool at its more attractive side. The information... More

Disappointed in this 'attraction'. It's basically a walk around a pool that is advertised as 'blue' but on the sunny day we visited was shades of green and brown. At a reasonable pace, you can complete the tour in 20-30 minutes and at £6 per adult is not value for money. You can't go into the pool. There is a... More

Memories from our own childhood as well a picture hanging in our house with just 2 kids (we now have 3!) inspired us to return here. Not quite as big as I remember but a lovely walk with beautiful views. The kids also loved it. And we got a new picture with the 3 of them! Maybe a tad expensive... More

Really disappointed by this. Sounded like a really nice place to visit. £6 per adult for what was a 30 minute walk was a bit steep. Walking routes were not easily identified. Real shame

We visited on Saturday of the bank holiday weekend weekend late afternoon. What a place, the kids loved walking around the pool and playing in the kids play area with the dads within the group. Whilst the mums stopped for tea and cake. Fab it was lovely to experience a proper tea shop set up, amazing scones and cake at... More

The place is lovely with some playgrounds for the children, lovely walk for an afternoon but for £6 per adult it is a bit too much for a 1-2 hours visit. The service in the shop and tea house is VERY slow. No chance for paying for your ice-cream before it melts!!!

Stopped off on our way to Swanage for lunch and a stroll. This is a very low key tourist attraction, but very peaceful setting around the "blue pool" created from an old clay pit. Been there since the 30's, but would have liked to have learned more about the history to the place - the small museum was very poorly... More

Although it was tranquil at Blue Pool today, the pool was disappointingly green, somewhat like the Rio Olympic diving pool. The tearoom was ok, but the scones were more akin to small rock cakes. I felt the £6 per head extortionate for what was only about an hours walk. Should be free!!
