After years of passing the signs for the Blue Pool we decided to visit it. What a lovely surprise ! A well marked out walk for the nible and not so nimble around a lovely pool which on the day we visited was really blue and also showed nice reflections for some angles. You never know when to stop taking... More

We returned this venue still very costly for a 20 min walk our cream tea was not good scones felt hard and where stale as though they had been in the freezer. They say it home cooked food not sure about that either I felt it was heated up frozen food. Really could do with updating staff not that friendly... More

A very enjoyable experience. Lovely view over the pool, from the wooded walkway. There are two walks, one a bit steep, with steps. The other lower and flatter ground. Glad we found it. Entry six pounds. Five pounds for over 60's. Wheelchair users can sit outside the cafe overlooking the pool

Just had to go and see this 'blue pool.' Plenty of parking, café, gift shop and toilets. Short walk to the pool, it was a lovely shade of blue, apparently it changes colour at different times of the year/day or something. Would love to see this place in all the different seasons.

Lovely place to spend a couple of hours. Bit pricey, but so is everything nowadays. Peaceful and beautiful. Good map supplied and a great kids play area.

Beautiful place to visit! Views are lush and great if you have a camera and a picnic! Only down side is the cafe is expensive and it's reasonably pricey to get in but other than that a lovely day out!

The Blue Pool is tucked away to the south of Wareham in Dorset. If you just want to get away and saunter through the woodland alongside the Pool then this is for you. Not for those who want the buzz of hundreds of people but for those who just want to take their time and walk along either the hilly... More

The signage at the pay booth has been copied from the National Trusts own style but that was the only similarity, it got worse from there onwards. With some care, attention to detail and an owner who actually gives a hoot & has some foresight, this place could be so much better & a welcome site for repeat visits but... More
