Salendo dal piccolo e bel paese do Omignano, con una strada non propriamente bellissima, si arriva in cima ad oltre 1000 metri di altezza. Una volta in cima si può prendere un sentiero che porta ad un piccolo belvedere assolutamente fantastico. Vale la pena

Si sale fino alla vetta circa 1000 metri passando dal centro del paese. La strada e' abbastanza buona e la vegetazione( macchia mediteranea) e' gradevole. Si arriva in cima dove ad accoglierti c'e' la cappella della Madonna( da visitare assolutamente quando e' aperta purtroppo) ma eccoci alle nota dolente il tutto e' rovinato dalle antenne enormi e per niente integrate nel paesaggio. Nonostante cio' il belvedere e' straordinario spazia dal cilento piu' interno alla costa tirrenica.

Die Natur holt sich die Wanderwege in Süditalien schnell wieder zurück, Wegmarkierungen sind dann häufig nicht mehr zu erkennen. Zum Monte Stella findet man aber ohne größere Probleme. Das Auto haben wir gegenüber dem Verwaltungsgebäude der "Comune di San Mauro Cilento" abgestellt.
Die Wanderung ist nicht spektakulär, die Aussicht auf Meer aber dennoch schön. Der Gipfel schafft es irgendwie immer wieder, sich dem Blick zu entziehen. Das Ende der Wanderung ist daher nicht immer in Sichtweite.
Im Cilento gibt es Wildschweine. Sie haben sich auf dem RĂĽckweg gezeigt, uns aber in Ruhe gelassen.

da quassĂą sicuramente si puo ammirare il bellissimo panorama che offre la costiera cilentana ed il parco naturale della valle di Diano, molto suggestivo.

Sempre stato affascinato sin da bambino al mitico pallone che si vedeva da gran parte del Cilento. Oggi ho potuto far visitare ai miei figli quel fantastico panorama che mi mancava ormai da moltissimi anni da poter ammirare nuovamente. E sempre una grande emozione vedere questo monte che sembra ergersi dal mare! Una veduta mozzafiato che resterĂ  sempre nel cuore.

Vale la pena salire sul Monte Stella per lo spettacolare panorama su tutta la costa, la sua inconfondibile sagoma conica domina tutta la zona meridionale del Cilento.
Noi siamo partiti in auto da Casal Velino, siamo saliti fino a Stella Cilento, poi Perdifumo e siamo riscesi a Castellabate, tanta natura e varie soste per ammirare i magnifici panorami sulla costa.
Bella escursione.

Prima volta qui ad Omignano per la saga di Monte stella. Piccolo borgo con vista panoramica. Vista mozzafiato sul mare, altra perla della valle del Cilento. la cima è raggiungibile con auto , ma il percorso è un po tortuoso. In cima c'è una vista a 360 ° sulla valle dell'Alento. Ottima per i pic-nic.

Il posto sarebbe incantevole se non fosse per i sentieri poco curati, aspettatevi di dover superare cardi, ortiche e sterpaglie su alcuni tratti. Segnaletica a volte difficile da trovare.
Peccato perché le vedute sulla costa sono mozzafiato.
