The sentier Mont-du-lac-des-cygnes is a beautiful 8.4 km (return trip) hiking trail in the Parc National des Grands Jardins located just minutes from Baie Saint-Paul. This is one of several trails available in the Parc National des Grands Jardins. An intermediate-level trail... this trail has...More

My friend and I decided to do the Via Ferrata "La Montée" in the Grands Jardins near Baie St-Paul. We booked online, was quite easy. Showed up for 10am start and lucky us, we were the only 2 person with our super guide JP. It's...More

We were traveling with two teenagers and are not expert hikers. The 4+ Km walk up on the Mont du lac de Cygnes is not easy by any stretch, but it is lovely and the paths are well groomed. Take a full water bottle and...More

During our round trip in Canada we visited several national and provincial parks. This park was my personal favorite because of the changing landscapes and the beautiful mountains. We were lucky to see a moose in the middle of the road when we returned home...More

Had a few hours for hiking. This trail is pretty popular but was not overcrowded when we were there. The trails are impeccably maintained, like gnomes rake the gravel every morning. The climb was not too difficult and the scenery is beautiful.

I was recently in Grands Jardins, for the second time in four years. Unlike my first trip when I'd hiked in beautiful early fall weather and with fall colours in effect, this was one rugged wintry experience. I went up Mont du Lac de Cygnes...More

I found Parc National Des Grands Jardins to be incredibly beautiful and unspoiled by tourism and development. If this park were anywhere near a large city, it would be overrun with people. It's far enough from Quebec City ( which is not that big) that...More

We visited the Grands Jardins and the Haute Gorges in this region. both were excellent with surprisingly different scenery. At the Grands Jardins we drove up to the Chute walk which was impressively remote.

Excellent snowshoeing in the winter. We did not encounter many people on the trails. We went off trail a lot and let the XC skiiers have their tracks. Perfect powder.
