Open year round, Pagham Harbour is a glorious and peaceful reserve and is an internationally important wetland site for wildlife. The big, sheltered inlet at it's heart attracts ducks, geese and wading birds flighting to and fro. With a wealth of wildlife, beautiful landscapes, and a rich historical heritage, it is a great place to get away from it all.

This is a great find for birders. Good views of finches and waders. Friendly and helpful staff in the cafe, whom we watched talking enthusiastically to people who had only just become interested in birdwatching.

Spent a week’s holiday at Jim & Stuart’s lovely Airbnb home in Hunston - an ideal base for Pagham RSPB reserve, with half hourly buses, or an easy cycle ride as it’s pretty flat. The reserve is stunning - get there before breakfast and take...More

We stayed at the Haven place nearby over Easter and wandered into the Harbour Reserve on a rainy day when the tide was out, it was all a bit grim and grey. Roll forward to Easter Sunday when the sun finally shone and the tide...More

Lovely open space, a magnet for shoreline & migratory birds. Even saw a kingfisher on my first visit!

Staying at the nearby caravan site and venturing out shopping muddy paths, we were well rewarded by a beautiful nature reserve and lots of birds that my young sons were more impressed by than I expected. Lovely spot.
