Beautiful location. Peaceful, quiet with stunning views. A haven for nature. Lovely walks through the woods by the Ley. Don't miss it.

The ley was not damaged by the winter storms although the beach defences were breached. This is fantastic place for wild life, lots of birds, butterflies, swans and a heron to name a few.

This review is of the nature reserve served by the Field Centre. Slapton Ley is the largest freshwater lake in SW England and it's a gem! We parked (for free) just over the bridge between the Upper and Lower Leys: there is a wooden hut...More
