Emma Kershaw came to Bordebasse to give a wine and food tasting. 10 of us from age 21 to 84 years young sat around the table and had an incredible afternoon, the food was exceptional, the wine out of this world and Emma's knowledge of wine, how its grown, produced and marketed in second to none. I have absolutley no... More

Emma's description of the area and the wines made there was fascinating and really informative. In particular her ability to relate the wines with food was exceptional. We all enjoyed the wine tasting event she organised and were much more knowledgeable at the afterwards.

All that has been said by reviewers is absolutely right! A group of 14 of us staying at the fantastic Abbaye-Château of Camon had an amazingly successful tapas and tasting lunch en place with the passionately enthusiasm and brilliantly knowledgeable Emma. The pairings of food and wine were exquisite and perfectly judged, and we all learned much that was new... More

We're just back from a short and very sweet trip to Montclar, a little village outside of Carcassonne. Emma very kindly agreed to visit us at our gite, which was a great treat - it meant no driving, just ultimate relaxation and learning at the kitchen table. Emma was supremely professional from the first email, taking a keen interest in... More

Do not hesitate to visit! What Emma doesn't know about wine (and food) isn't worth knowing! She truly is a walking fountain of knowledge when it comes to wine. We booked the private tasting session between four of us at Emma's stunning home and it was just fab! The wines were gorgeous and the food equally, even though some of... More

We are a couple new to the world of wine tasting and were given a weekend with Emma as an engagement present. What could have been intimidating because of our total lack of knowledge was in fact a fabulous revelation! Emma's knowledge of wine and the area is encylopedic and she is great fun to be around. With Emma we... More

I liked the first wine and food trip so much I went on another! Having explored some of the Western Languedoc-Rousillion with Emma in April, I went back to the South Eastern area this September. Emma teaches about the wine and food of the region as only one who loves and understands it can. The quality of the food, wine... More

Our group enjoyed Emmas excellent wine knowledge, tapas and wines of the region in June. Emma came to our Villa and we had just a great time tasting wines and tapas. Easily the best tasting I have ever been, about 10 previously. Emmas knowledge about local wines was excellent and her stories just great fun. I can easily recommend Emmas... More

Emma came to the group of villas where we were staying to give us and other couples a tour of the food and wine of the Languedoc-Roussillon. It was a fantastically informative, but relaxed and enjoyable evening. We all learnt so much while also enjoying fabulous food and wine. Emma's enthusiasm was infectious. Thank you Emma! We fully recommend this... More
