Part of the the local history. A stunning building and easy to find in the city of Rochefort. Striking in appearance and well reserved. A real feature for the place. Well worth visiting.

Story book restored castle with small keep surrounded by a water filled moat. Lots to see and do with reproduction armour and weapons worn and wielded by staff . Excellent tableaux inside the living areas of the keep plus you could see the staff's penchant...More

We arrived just before 5pm and were the last to leave. Our children loved the fact we could all dress up and explore the Fort in medieval clothes. The quiz is fantastic and ensures you get to explore every part of the Fort & grounds....More
