- Samantha B57 contributionsA Good StopWe were here on opening day during a stop on our coastal drive and were happily surprised to discover that admission was 50% off. The lady who works here is very friendly and the bottle houses themselves were interesting and beautiful. It is a nice spot to stretch your legs and take some nice photos.Thank you for your review. We really appreciate it.Written June 23, 2024This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited May 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten May 30, 2024
- John MSarasota, Florida132 contributionsYeah, yeah but it really is a must see.Unique and special in every way... ! Yes a must see not only for the bottles but also for the gardens. I'm not a gift shop aficionado but that looked pretty good. It's a great presentation of one man's dream come true that is quite compelling.Visited August 2024Travelled with familyWritten August 21, 2024

We drove an hour out of our way, because a tourism PEI site said that this attraction was dog friendly. It is NOT LARGE DOG FRIENDLY. Once we entered we were told only dogs that you can carry. We were offered a wagon to haul our 75 pound German Shepherd around in. We decided against other stop to view this one. A rather large disappointment for our entire family.

****UPDATE***
We have personally spoken to these visitors who could not enter with their pet as they thought they could. We were able to compensate them for their misinformed experience. We also had the province change the erroneous information.
*****************************************
We are so sorry that this happened to you. We contacted the province and they updated the page information and apologized. Dog owners can bring their dogs if they can carry them in their arms or push them in a stroller. We do have a doggy wagon that can be used, but not all dogs will want to sit in the wagon.
We would like to make this up to you. Please contact me so I can offer you and your family something to compensate you for your trouble - adcormier2014@gmail.com

I was really disappointed in this bottle house attraction. I can’t believe they charge 10$ to see 3 houses of bottles in cement. I was expecting a lot more artistry in the houses, more color just waaaaay more. They were not colourful or different. The gardens are beautiful and thank goodness for that. Don’t waste your time or money

Greeted by friendly staff and was told it was $10 each. No problem, until 10 min later and we were done. It definitely not worth $10 to see 3 houses made out of glass bottles. The gardens were very nice, but I have a garden in my backyard that I see everyday for free. We were pretty disappointed.

Stopped on a rainy day since reviews were good. Staff was very friendly. The garden was beautiful and the bottle houses were almost interesting, but we saw and read everything in less than 30 minutes. An expensive, short visit.

I am sorry that you didn’t find the visit work the cost to you. Most of our visitors enjoy the gardens and the yard games placed in the gardens which is either an add-on or one of the surprise factors for visitors.

A beautiful site for a visit that doesn't last too long. Magnificent and impeccably maintained gardens but above all these surprising little colorful houses, built from glass bottles. Breathtaking creativity. In addition, dogs are allowed if they can stay comfortably in the small wheelbarrow provided. All these beauties near the sea that you can see at the end of the land.

We had a great visit to the bottle houses. Such a unique display to see and very well maintained. The staff were very friendly and informative. The self guided tour was a wonderful way to experience the bottle houses. My tween really liked pretending to play bar at the bar lounge. Highly recommended you check it out.

Want something cool to check out. Do you like quirky things? Well the bottle house is right up your alley! Walk the multiply scructures made with bottles!! This has been delicately restored to its original stage.

Could I bring my dog to explore the grounds with me?
Written July 18, 2019
If you can carry your dog in yours, in a carrier or have it in a stroller, then your dog is welcome to come along for the visit!
