We went over the august long weekend and had a great time! We stayed in an eco-deluxe cabin, and it was really nice to have the bathroom! Our only complaint would be that the cabins were super hot, and didn’t cool down until the sun went down. Some shade and trees around the cabins would be helpful. Food was fine for a wilderness resort! Breakfast was pancakes one day and eggs and bacon the other. Lunches were burgers/hot dogs and dinner was geek themed one day and bbq chicken the other. Check in was easy. On the sheet we got when we arrived they had times listed for us to eat as it was a bit late (7pm dinner with kids just isn’t feasible). We use just showed up earlier and it wasn’t an issue. The cafe was reasonably priced and we could get a kids ice cream for $2. They also had lattes, etc. Everyone that worked there was very engaged and kind/polite. We went with our 7 and 8 year old boys who enjoyed it a lot! We would go again, wish it wasn’t 6 hours away!

We went on a one day family rafting trip. We didn't get any photos as we left our phone in the car all day. Everything about wilderness tours was first class. Beautiful location, with an amazing patio and outdoor pavilion. Well organized, clearly laid out. Tommy was our guide and made our 7 & 11 year old very comfortable. He was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable and knew so much about the river, wildlife and history. He easily answered their 8 thousand questions and really made the whole experience. We got to raft incredible rapids, swim a rapid, float down a "lazy river", see wildlife and really just enjoy a day on the water. The only thing we missed was the fact that you can ask for a menu instead of eating the buffet style service. We had heard the burgers were good but will have to wait for our next visit to find out. We will definitely be returning.

I had a great time with Wilderness Tours resort for my summer water adventure sports activities such as Rafting, Sea Kayak and Mountain Biking. Some of the highlights of the trip were experiencing the rapids on the Ottawa's River main and middle channels alongside with sunny warm weather, an ideal summer gateway. Our guides Nigel,Tommy,DJ,Ben, Katie, Elizabeth and the hospitality team were super helpful. They were very understanding, accommodating to our group, and would totally endorse them for all our upcoming trips. Food was great with decent options for non vegetarians, could be improved for future offering multiple options for vegetarian meal plans which could attract more crowds from various communities. Accommodations were good with large hostel beds, sheets, and pillows included. It would be nice if charging power points and mosquito net coils are included. Multiple washrooms are available on the resort for guests which was good especially during the rush hour. Also the playdium offers multiple sports activities such as volleyball, chess, billiards, checkers, nature trails, hiking, live music with local artists with cozy bonfire under the stars which is amazing during the downtime. Overall I would totally recommend it to all for your summer water sports adventure getaway. I had a great time building life skills and creating awesome memories :)
