Went with a group of five for a bachelor’s party and stayed in one of the basic cabins. It was exactly that, a plywood box with beds. They say it sleeps 4 but can easily sleep 6 people as there are 4 beds, which werent horrible to sleep on. One recommendation is to bring a couple fans as the air is stagnant and it gets unbearably hot. The washroom situations are an outhouse around the corner. The rafting experience itself was worth the trip, it was the full four hours like they mentioned and possibly longer. You do a lot of waiting around though as the groups are too large maybe 8-10 rafts almost. It gets annoying having to wait for each one to to over the rapid before you can proceed to the next, so it’s prly 75% waiting and 25% doing, but at least you’re on the water!

It was our second gentle rafting tour and we had even more fun this time! Adam, our tour guide, did an amazing job getting us safely through the rapids while ensuring we were thrilled. This time we did a few more things with Adam we didn't do the first time, such as swimming though the Butterfly rapid and getting our raft under the Caterpillar rapid. Adam is very knowledgeable about this beautiful stretch of the Ottawa River and gave us a great overview of its natural history. Highly recommend this tour for the whole family and especially doing it with Adam if you are lucky. Make sure you spend some time at the resort before or after your rafting tour. They have a nice beach with two platforms to slide and jump in the water. You can also rent their kayaks and paddle boards for free which is great. Food was ok, quite filling, but nothing fancy. I think last year it was tastier. I wish food was after the tour as you'll be quite hungry. But overall we had an amazing experience and will definitely come back again.

I am not a thrill seeker. HOWEVER. The level of care and safety this place takes is beyond! I went in 2020 on a BUSY long weekend, as well as last weekend (June 2021) - both times: staff were amazing, everything was really well explained, cabins were clean and comfy, rapids were FUN FUN FUN. Our guides were amazing and both this year and last we did the 'Guide your own' which again, felt SUPER SAFE. I look forward to going again this summer and again and again for years to come! A BIG shoutout to our 2020 guide Alex who was a 5 star guide, as well to our two guides in 2021: Clairoux who ROCKED her training and made us all feel so safe, along with Chris (Brew) who made us laugh endlessly but was so confident and kept us safe and having fun!

We just got back from a weekend away at Wilderness Tours. Although it may have been a torrential down pour of rain all weekend, we all (11 kids and 8 adults) had a blast! Our tour guide on the water was Zack and he was the BEST!!!

Our appointment for rafting was at 12:30 pm, and my family and I were instructed to arrive half and hour earlier; so we did, just to find out that lunch (which was included) was halfway, and we did not have time, unless we ran. We were not informed about it; I tried to get someone to explain the situation, but there was no one. The girl at the entrance was kind enough to switch our lunch for dinner, and even when there was a price difference, she did not charge it. The bathrooms are disgusting, fortunately we just went inside to change clothes. The overall experience was fantastic, these guys take their business very seriously and both safety instructions and COVID-19 precautions were extremely detailed. Thumbs up for the trip leader, Chris, and our guide, Duncan: absolutely professional, fun and experienced. There were ups and downs, but they really made our experience worth it.
