Having visited the beaches in Thailand and Goa. (with fine white sand), this beach came a quite a surprise. Wouldn't call it a very clean beach either.

This seems to be one of the only go to beaches on the island. Then again I may be wrong considering the month I went to the beach— end of tourist season. Regardless beautiful beach and scenery and easy to get to by car, foot...More

This was our favourite beach in Folegandros although there wasn't any shade so take an umbrella with you. Nice swimming.

Very small beach, a few cafes. No one was swimming. Several small boats anchored there. Caught first bus back to chora .

Agkali is not a big place. There are some nice tavernas and there is a beach. Its not huge, and can get crowded. Best option is to hop on a local boat and go around the corner to Agios Nikalos

Nice beach with a mini beach that you can reach by walking inside the water. The sea was beautiful; but not better or worse than any other beach in Folegandros. Just more crowded. No umbrellas & no natural shade. Nice cafes and tavernas around.

Agali is a decent beach. Pebbles, like everywhere. Has some restaurants and bars right by the beach so it's a 'safe' option (unlike many other beaches on the island that have nothing). Taverna Agali is very nice, try the grilled fresh fish. Be sure to...More

Agali beach at first impressions, with various cafes, car park and crowds / sun umbrellas, is mixed. But take a closer look, this is a beach with pristine water for swimming and safe for families / children. If you are willing to walk in water...More

Lovely beach with lots of tavernas or places to eat. You can walk or catch a boat to other nearby beaches too

You can get to this by bus but we decided to hire a car for the day and explore a few beaches. This is definitely one of the best ones, nice local amenities too.
