Follow Perivale Road East from Spring Bay. Perivale Gallery offers a feast for the senses along the beautiful southeastern shore of Lake Kagawong. Representing exceptional contemporary Canadian fine artists, sculptors and artisans for over 40 years, this eclectic exhibition of original work in a variety of media and styles, is ever-changing and evolving and worth several visits over the season. Open weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) 10 - 5 and by appointment Monday thru Thursday from the May holiday until mid September.

    Exceptional display of quality artwork originals over a wide range of media and subject matter. The art is displayed well to compliment each piece. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and are able to provide additional information about the pieces and the artists. A definite must-see!

    Worth the Visit!
    This gallery does not disappoint! Such a wonderful selection of art to browse over, as well as, jewelry, pottery, stain glass, and wood working. This gallery is located on a beautiful property surrounded by lush trees, sculptures and gardens. The owner of the gallery is very knowledgable about the artists and is a good resource for anyone interested in purchasing art. Shannon is a wonderful conversationalist filled with fascinating stories. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. If you have the opportunity to stop buy and visit, please take the time to do so.

    My wife and I have visited the Manitioulin Island for first time. The Perivale Gallery is a MUST. Shannon is wonderful, and the art is amazing. So many different forms of artwork and wonderful laid out. Looking forward to coming back in late July to see the Tom Thomson & Group of 7 show.

    Like a secret hideaway this gallery was so worth the trip. Getting there was half the fun and the collection was incredible. Saw some pieces by old favourites and discovered some new artists too. Managed to pick up some treasures.

Socially Disappointing.

During my recent visit to this impressive gallery, artist Len Harfield spoke with owner Shannon McMullan from across the room cautioning her to "watch out for the Gypsies"on her trip to Paris.
My partner is a Roma (NOT Gypsy). How offensive in this day and age.The remark was received without comment by the owner.
I returned the two small pieces of Mr. Harfield's I had wanted to purchase.

Exceptional gallery and art offerings

Made this a must-do stop after having several folks recommend it. So glad we stopped in. A fabulous curating of local artists, all exceptionally talented.

Found two pieces that really captured us, they're coming home to grace our living space.

If you only have time to do a couple of stops, make sure this is top of the list. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Gallery

We visited this gallery after reading a review and it was everything and more! The location is absolutely stunning inside and out. The owner, Shannon, was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to. We loved that the gallery is made up of art from Canadian artists and there is certainly something for everyone here. The paintings, sculptures and jewelry were all displayed beautifully. Don’t leave the island without a visit to Perivale Gallery!
