Perfect in every way. Our entire family ( Mom , Dad and 3 teen daughters ) had an exceptional experience. We unplugged and enjoyed every moment of this unique off grid retreat. Brody and Christina are the loveliest hosts. We felt welcome in their home and appreciated the great care they took to accommodate our daughter’s severe food allergy. The family accommodation was superb. Learning to live in a sustainable way was a unique experience. Our group ranged in ages from 14 to 71, and it worked perfectly. The food was excellent and plentiful. We loved dining at the waters edge with our fellow travellers. The kayaking experience was outstanding. We came as novices and left with new skills and confidence. The Flow is an authentic and intimate travel and life experience. Each day was amazing and unique. We would highly recommend.

From planning the trip to the goodbye handshake when we left last Friday, Brody and Christine made our 5 days with them on Maurelle Island a memorable experience. We are somewhat experienced paddlers however this was our first time in Sea Kayaks on the ocean as most of our time is on lakes and rivers in Ontario. Brody and Nic were excellent guides and the equipment was top of the line , accommodations were excellent for an off grid resort and the food was worthy of a fine dining establishment. Lots of good memories .

Definitely a great experience. Our hosts are experienced, always on top of things, always positive, helpful, caring and fun. The accommodations are fairly new and each cabin has its own privy... a huge plus. No heat or AC, but we're camping, right? Meals were outstanding and pleasant with breakfast and dinner on the deck and lunches generally occurred during a paddle. Our guide was super awesome... knowledgeable, good conversation, helpful and conscious of our needs, desires and safety, We happened to be there during a damp week but the rain never impeded our paddling and with the covered cabana we always had a dry place to gather. I would definitely return and recommend Brody and Cristina's retreat to others. TIP: don't overpack. The cabins aren't really roomy enough to spread out too much. Next time I'll limit myself to a duffle bag... it's all totally casual. I was glad to have my personal dry bag, paddling gloves, hat & phone protector. PS: if you're prone to mosquito bites, bring repellant and After Bite... you are in a rain forest here.

We have gone twice, once in June of 2011 and most recently August 2021. Both times it was amazing. The guides are great, they know the area, the sites to see, and the kayaking is adjusted for all levels, There is beach time, hiking, looking for sea life and of course a soak in the hot tub when you get back. The food is fresh, local where possible and so tasty. The cabins are clean, restful and welcome after a day of kayaking.
Both times, it could not have been better. I would go again

We’ve had two separate weeks at the the Flow, one about 6 years ago and one in August 2019. This is an amazing experience — an outdoor experience like no other with all the little luxuries. One of the best holidays I’ve had. Brody and his team are super stars and will treat you like royalty. The sea kayaking is incredible.

Just back from my third visit, and wish I was still there. The year has been extraordinarily hectic and 5 days of being off line (no cell, no wifi, no power) just made me want a few more days. The food was delicious, the beds comfortable, the other guests delightful (as always seems to happen here) and our hosts, Brody and Cristina welcoming and kind. The paddling was terrific with amazing views around each corner. Every time it is a peaceful, regenerating, re-energising stay.

You have exceeded my expectations by far! From the careful approach re: COVID and my food restriction; to delicious and local food; (so much food!); delightful accommodations; living off the grid; great, fun, wonderful guides (Luka and Jodi rock!); the paddling was spectacular and very much geared to all abilities; hiking and swimming. We did it all and were so pampered throughout! Thank you so much Brody, Christine, Kale, Harmony and Piper!

Brody and Cristina put so much effort in every detail of this special place: the food is made locally (they have their own garden and with source local seafood) and if delicious, the adaptations for the current physical distancing and added hygienic measures are well thought-out, the cabins are extremely comfortable and inviting, and the hot showers are so relaxing. Jody and Luka, the kayak guides, are extremely professional, patient, knowledgeable, caring, and fun! The whole experience is magical and you will be well taken care of. They make you feel like you are part of their family yet maintain a high level of professionalism and hospitality.
Thank you for an amazing week!
