A must place for a picture, form Swakopmund on the road to the Rostock Ritz Lodge, you have to make a stop there for pictures for family and friends!

Place a sticker but please don't cover the name! That will ruin it for everyone else. Definitely worthwhile getting a photo here.

When we arrived at this sign, the left hand sign was packed with tourists so our guide, Philip of Wild Wind Safaris, had us go across the road to the other side. No one was there;-) Philip even had champagne for us. It is a fun photo opportunity.

As you are traveling around Namibia, take a few minutes to stop at the Tropic of Capricorn Sign. So many people do not understand the significance of the TOC but for those of us that do, it is a fun reminder to all that the world has some great features that many do not get to see. Enjoy, take 5 minutes for the photo, and have a great rest of the trip through Namibia - great views into this area.

Fantastic scenery on the road which crosses the tropic but it’s a shame the sign looks so tatty. It’s worth stopping to look.

One of those items that is in the middle of nowhere as you are heading down hill on a dirt track and only if it’s on your way...

We stopped at the Tropic of Capricorn sign for a quick photo with our Jenman Tour vehicle as a backdrop. Worth a quick photo stop! Nothing else notable here.

A short drive out of Windhoek, (we were headed South to the Quiver Tree Forest) in approximately an hour after leaving Windhoek we began to look out for the Tropic of Capricorn signs.
Thou the signposts do not exactly mark the crossing of the Tropic of Capricorn,
they are pretty close and safe to access for photo's.
Found on either side of the highway in the middle of nowhere actually, these signs just make a good photo post if anything else.
We actually overshot and had to turn back.
One just needs to pullover to the side of the road and it won't take all of five minutes really to get that shot before you are on your way again.

We have just returned from travelling in Namibia and drove along the C14 to Walvis Bay. The sign just isn't there !!!!
