Hidden gem

You will find no signs, the falls are not listed on list of attractions. The road is hidden. No indication anywhere until you get there. Breathtaking! Thank you GoogleMaps!

natures beauty enjoyed

We enjoyed the rush of the water and the pleasant quiet atmosphere. The rushing water made a great sound that complimented the natural wonder we found.

Best viewed with a winter frost on the surrounding trees!

The falls run under a new bridge recently completed. There are no views of the whole falls because of the terrain and the bridge. There is a small park beside the falls for parking and picnicking. There you can see the upper falls and this is a safe family area. You can also cross the two lane highway on foot to see the lower falls but the going is difficult, even risky so not for young children. Spring run off creates large volumes of water. The day after winter rain the surrounding trees become frosted and it is a beautiful site.

Spring is the best time to see this beauty
Apr. 2016
It's unfortunate that they are doing bridge work right in this area as with high water levels, this is a very pretty little waterfalls. The upper falls is rather small but the lower level is rather impressive due to the high spring run off. However, it is difficult to get to a point where you can really appreciate the view. The banks is steep and getting down rather tricky I would suggest it is worth stopping in for a look especially if you combine it with other waterfalls ( and maybe lunch!) in the area.
