We visited for the first time, we have promised to do it for years but never got around to it. Entry is reasonable at €8 especially as it goes towards protecting the tortoises. Plenty to see and interactive stuff for the kids. Not swish and modern but a good place to spend a few hours.

Well done explanation of the various species and habitats. From tiny babies hatched recently to old beasties wandering about the pens & poking their heads above water, wondering if the humans had snacks, they were well-maintained. As a builder, I would like to see someone nail down a few of the protruding nail heads. Perhaps replace a few of the... More

The turtles have all been rescued and will be put back in the wild if possible, which makes the cause behind this park an extra reason to visit. Everything is explained in 4 languages (not something you see often in France ;)). Enterence is 12,5€ but kids below 5 are free. We took our 2 and 4year olds and had... More

Our kids loved it. We had the chance to see the feeding and got some extra explanations from the personnel.

Great place to visit, it is cheap to enter and you get a guide to walk around with. Lots of tortoises ranging from large to small, including babies! Fascinating to hear about their work, and the stories of different tortoises. Definitely worth a visit!

REally enjoyed visiting this place with my 2 children aged 5 & 6, whilst they loved seeing the tortoises it was really educational too and encouraged many questions. Play area good for younger children, picnic area and reasonably priced gift shop.

While a bit out of the way for anyone visiting on the coast -- it is worth the trip for anyone who is a nature/turtle enthusiast. This village is a non commercial turtle rescue center with the ultimate goal of protecting turtles that cannot protect themselves on their own. There are MANY turtles of different varieties. A fun excursion away... More

This is a small but interesting place to visit. The clinic showed the challenging work that they carry out. Great variety of tortoise and turtles on display. The tortoises were in great enclosures and very active when we visited. As previously stated the information was in three languages but an English speaker is required to correct some of the displays.... More

We enjoyed our visit and we learned lots of stuff about tortoises and turtles. The first thing you need to know is that this is not a zoo, it is a research institute and rescue centre. The second thing you need to know is that the whole set up is extremely good in terms of learning about tortoises and seeing... More
