Well maintained waterfall park. It was affordable and December was a great time to go. The weather was gorgeous 70 degrees and sunny. You can ride a horse up to see the falls for $3!

The park is very well maintained. There are many where you can have a pic nic and enjoy a nice day surrounded by nature. The waterfall pfff absolutely beautiful, we went after a few days of raining so it had a lot of water. Amazing place definitely recommend it.

It is a great place to visit. Clean and beautiful. Two tips: go in rainy season and early, they open at 9:00 am.

Its good place but nice in rainy season. Waterfall is small so you may get disappointed but its well preserved. You can give horse ride to kids.

Great site. Park at the hotel 30 pesos parking, they cleaned my windows while we visited site. You can also purchase bracelets for pool access at hotel which is nice since you really can't get in the falls water. You can park closer if you go further up from hotel as well, they do charge as well but its not... More

The place involves walking (about 30 minute walk uphill) it could be a challenge for some during the summer (above the 100 F degrees) Park inside the hotel (paid parking but much safer) and make sure you visit the bungee (even if you don't jump you can enjoy other people's screaming and laughing) Shorts, shirt, a hat, sunscreen and plenty... The waterfall is small so don't expect a huge one, there is no swimming area below the waterfall and honestly no area for adults to swim. Kids will love it because you can wade in pretty much the whole creek below the waterfall. The park is very well maintained and the cost to go in is pretty inexpensive. I had... More

I must say it: dont go there of you like animals. Its a place where they dont feed and give water to the horses. I said to the driver to give water to the horse: he said he was drunk that is why the horse was not walking normally!! I was so angry!! I will never come back!!!

Cola de Caballo is nice escape from the city, out of the noise, traffic jam and buildings. Even it is an small waterfall and no swimming area it has a relaxing view. Visit the fall will take you no more than an hour, you may go to Santiago or El Cercado town for lunch or breakfast.
