Meridiana Wine Estate produces some of the best Maltese wines. All our wines are produced using only Maltese grown grapes, most of which in the vineyards of our estate in Ta Qali, Malta's agricultural heartland. Meridiana Wine Estate produces only approx 140,000 bottles of wine per year and is considered to be a boutique winery producing high quality wines - our mission statement is to produce World Class Wines of Maltese Character. Some of our most renowned wines include the Isis (Chardonnay), Astarte (Vermentino), Melqart (Cabernet Sauv/Merlot), Nexus (Merlot), Bel (Syrah), Celsius (Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve). We have recently launched a First Limited Release of our new dessert wine, Baltis (Moscato Passito). The first vintage has yielded only 405 bottles. We also produce a mid level range called Fenici. It is made up of a White (Vermentino/Viognier/Chardonnay), a Red (Syrah/Merlot) and a Rose (Cabernet Sauv/Syrah). Most of our production sell in Malta & Gozo. We reserve a small amount of wines for export to select markets like Japan, Denmark & Belgium and to private clients in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Excellent wine tasting experience

Top of the line wine in Malta and well worth the time spent. I would put this on the To Do & To Go To list.

We went there because of curiosity (we haven't been in any vineyard earlier). It was an eye and taste buds enjoy. We should buy more vines. I'm sure we will come there again in future.

Went there for a wine tasting session with my work colleagues. Very nice wine with fantastic appetisers, such as Maltese local bread with tomatoes and herbs. Nice and relaxing views from the terraces. Show round consisted also of the wine cellars situated in the basement. Will definitely go again.

We did a wine tasting and tour of the cellar. It was amazing value at 10euro per person for 4 glasses of wine and the tour. Its a lovely place and the wines are really good. Especially the Nexus red wine. We couldn't taste the Celsius as the only make 1500 bottles each year, but I bough a few bottles... More

This was our 2nd winetasting with Meridiana... and once again a great experience. Beaitiful setting, super service, lots of time; and not to forget delicious wines... Don't miss out on the chance to learn a lot about local wines and this phantastiv views over the wines themselves. Oh, and to purchase super wine at fair prices! THANK YOU!!!!

We turned up here on spec, but were warmly welcomed by the lady on Reception who added our name to the diary and organised a tour for us within 15 minutes. It was disappointing that we couldn't see anything except the cellars where the wine was stored - we'd have really liked to see the process of making the wine... More

Visited for tasting. 4 wines from their range (excluding their expensive Cab Sav) for 10Euros. No moscato available on the day we went unfortunately but the others were very good. Really liked the Nexus and the uncomplicated vermentino. Short tour with discussion of the cellar. Walked from stadium bus stops (about 15 minutes).

Fine reception by Ingrid and Emanuel made this 3 hour tasting to a real good experience. We prefered The Isis Chardonnay and the Next Merlot. Interesting trial with Moscato. Surprised by The quality lever!

I came across this Vineyard a few years ago whilst visiting the crafts village. It was worth the find. I sampled their wine and it was love at first sight. They don't have a vast selection but this reflects the quality which is superb, everytime I visit Malta I always make a visit and buy a few bottles to take... More
