I leave in the Laurentides, and never did dogs sledding.
My nièce came for a impromptu visite in the winter, and I was looking for something for her to experience winter in Quebec .
We found this outfit very near us and decided to go and have a look. We were very impressed by the friendliness of the whole team. They were able to accommodate us on the next day.
The experience with the dogs was amazing. We helped with getting the dogs from the pen and taking them to be hooked to the sled. The trip in the woods was fantastic and very easy to do. My niece drove the first half (I was in the sled), and I drove the second part.
But what made this trip memorable was that all the people were so very nice, friendly and helpful. I would recommend this outfit to anybody who wants to try dog sledding and come away with the same good memories that we have .

My husband and I absolutely loved our first time dog sledding with Alaskan Adventures. We got to spend a lot of time with the dogs (I think I pet almost every single pup!) and could tell the staff there truly enjoy what they are doing which made the experience truly magical. What a hidden gem! Thank you for making such a highlight of our vacation.

Amazing dog sledding adventure tour! The guides are incredible and the dogs are adorable, friendly and very well taken care of. We had so much fun & even though it was very very cold ( -17F) the guides made sure we were warm and comfortable! Definitely recommend !!

If you are looking for dog sledding- look no further! The trip is authentic through the forest trails surrounding their place. The hosts and trainers are committed to making your experience fun and perfect. From the opportunity to help harness up the dogs to the soup at the end of your visit. Buy their picture / video package- it captures every moment!

We had a great time with Sonia and her team while we were tired of snowboarding in Mont-Tremblant. We have 2 Japanese Akita back home so this was a perfect place for our family. It is my unforgettable memory that we met wonderful people and dogs here. We will be back again and thanks for playing together !

This was one of the best experience I have ever had. You have the opportunity to either sit down or drive the sled. In the middle of the ride, we stopped and went inside to have some hot chocolate. It was a great way to warm up before going back out there.

The workers were all so nice. It was a great experience. The dogs were all so playful. At the end of the ride, they gave us some soup, which was the perfect thing to eat after being cold. As we ate some soup we watched all the video and pictures the photographer took of us.

We visited Mont Tremblant from the US the week of New Years with a group of 26 (12 adults 14 kids). We booked 2 groups for NY eve and from day one with just organizing a group this large Sonia was amazing. We all have never been so excited for an activity and it by far exceeded our expectations. The thrill of dog sledding alone through the snowy terrain would have been enough but Alaskan Adventures goes above and beyond just that. The day starts with walking over to the kennel where the trainers hand you a leash with dogs one by one where you walk them to get harnessed and walk them to their sled. This is repeated over and over again until all the dogs are harnessed. The dogs were so friendly and none of our little kids were the least bit afraid. The sleds themselves are large beautiful wooden sleds with pillows and heavy blankets which they wrap you in. The kids were paired up as passengers with a driver on their own sleds and the adult couples were together (one driver one passenger). The sledding itself was amazing. The kids had smiles on their faces from ear to ear. They even were allowed to take turns driving the sled with their guides. The adults enjoyed it just as much as the kids. It truly was something we have never done and never could have imagined doing. Half way through we stopped at a littler heated house where Sonia served us homemade cookies and hot chocolate. The kids drank and ate so quickly so they were able to get back outside to spend time with the dogs while they rested. I forgot to mention that Alaskan Adventures has a photographer waiting all over the trail taking photos and videos of your adventure. It was so great knowing this experience was being captured and not needing to worry about snapping photos ourselves. After the little break we got back on (husband and wives switched driver/passenger spots) and we were off again. I think overall we were out sledding an hour or an little more. Once the ride was over we were able to play with the dogs as much as we wanted. We spent probably another 20-30 min doing that. After that we went inside where we were served hot soup and watched a slide show of our pictures and videos which were available for purchase on a USB drive. We chose to stay for lunch because the second half of the group was arriving soon for their tour. After lunch we walked over to the dogs with our other group and watched as they all harnessed the dogs up and left for their tour. Everyone, adults and kids, were sad we weren’t going again. Everything from the moment we got there to the second we left was amazing. Sonia, her husband, and the other guides couldn’t have been nicer and more fun. The kids had a blast and you knew they were in excellent hands while driving the sleds. You could tell the dogs loved their trainers and were treated well. I can’t say enough good things about this company. It’s a must do if you are visiting the area! The pictures speak for themselves! Thanks you Alaskan Adventures for a memory we will never forget. Hopefully we will see you all again in the future.
