We visited the church for a family wedding and it is an ideal place for one. But for anyone who likes to visit old churches then this is a must see. The small church is full of references to the past and the church and ground are beautifully looked after.

St Matthew's Anglican Church in Guilford is full of simple charm and beauty which sometimes is the best combination. If in Guilford, make the time.

This is easy to get to, near the train station and near local eateries. It has an extensive grassed lawn area, however it is not fenced off, there is a band stand for shade, plenty of park benches and a play ground for kids. this is a nice place to lay in the sun with a picnic or a coffee... More

My grandmother was married in this church, my children were all christened here and sadly my grandmother's funeral service was also held in this lovely chuch full of history and charm. There are not many historic churches in perth and most have lost their lovely gardens. This church is set in a large tranquil open space. Have a visit when... More

A little show piece in the middle of Guildford. Lovely ambiance and feeling when one steps inside. Take a walk around the park and enjoy the chapel.

This beautiful church is set in park land of Western Australia's first designated park. the church is WA's only known garrison church with a continuing history and association with the West Australian Artillery. The church is the third St matthew's, the first was located near the Guildford Grammar School chapel, the second in Stirling Square, however, it was destroyed by... More

This is a small but pretty little church located in the historic Guildford area of Perth. The church doesn't seem to be open except on Sundays but it's still possible to walk around the outside. Worth a quick look.
