Popular spot, often crowded. Nice lake to navigate on (and there is a FREE boat-wash station in front of Camping des Érables, to prevent the spread of invasive species).

...but it's small. The beach is rocky. The water is quite clear, though! And the bethrooms are clean and convenient. Nice big parking. Must get quite crowded during hot summer days!

Beautiful lake setting with sandy beach and clean water. Life guards on duty during the day, canoe and kayak rental nearby, ample parking, bicycle path traverses this area and walking distance from “downtown“ Knowlton.

When did we travel here? All summer! Every local knows and loves the beach. The new canteen/building is very nice too. Okay, so it's not the Caribbean - it's still a great spot for families to hang out, have a picnic in the large park with ample picnic tables and hang out with friends.

Great spot to swim in Knowlton. Parking is not free. The gradation into the lake is very slow so great for kids; no sharp drop offs. Lifeguards on duty. Some sand and lovely grass with picnic tables. I stay away on week-ends as it gets very packed. There's a snack bar with hot dogs, Popsicles etc. Very clean beach.
