We were attracted by the look of this winery - what a gorgeous location and building. However, step inside and the ambience is immediately a bit frosty. No one was at the bar to welcome you as you come inside and we looked ourselves at the tasting menu only to find there were only two wines on offer to taste... More

We went here during a recent camping trip to the region. There is no doubt the building architecture and views are gorgeous. Big tick! But the service for the wine tasting and shop on the day we visited (29 December) was nothing short of appalling. Staff setting up the restaurant made eye contact with us on several occasions, but made... More

We have been coming to this venue for the past ten years when it was under the previous owners. Food was always fantastic, good wine, excellent service. Took my family here for an early Christmas lunch and wished I had not. The first thing that struck us was no air conditioning, windows wide open and flies everywhere. When it is... More

We decided to really get away from the Gold Coast and try the restaurant at the Kooroomba Vineyards for lunch on Saturday afternoon. It is quite a drive from Surfers Paradise; I would say give yourself 1 hour and 45 minutes. The location is delightful with glorious views of the ranges. The day we were there it was quite hot... No doubt about the location, the building and ambience. As per other reviews, we felt that certain visitor attraction niceties were lacking and that only the big spenders were truly welcome. The particular beer we wanted to order from the limited drinks menu was 'out of stock'. Having had the best of welcomes all over Oz (as UK visitors) from... More

We called in for a coffee and scones and were told we were not allowed to sit inside in the air conditioning but morning tea is served on the veranda. Only 35 degrees outside and not one person inside. They only want you inside if you buy lunch it seems. They should set up a coffee area inside. Nice lavender... More

It was a bit of a drive and we missed the lavender bloom season. But we thought we'd try the food at the restaurant and we're glad we did. The service was warm and friendly and the food was awesome. Made when ordered, the 48 hour pork was tasty and tender. But the lavender ice cream takes the cake. Generous... More

I don't know how we haven't heard of this place sooner. The building and vineyard reminded me of my last trip to Margaret River. The food was delicious, especially the lamb and the lavendar ice cream (which didn't taste at all like soap). We drank the local chardonnay which was surprisingly excellent. My only criticism would be the lack of... More

Enjoyed a Sunday with spectacular views, bottle of wine and some nibbles. We haven't eaten in the restaurant so we can't tell the quality, they have 2 different menus, inside should be fine dining, outside something easier like cheese platter and so on.
