Extraordinarily picturesque with beautiful nearby walks There was a reason it was chosen for glooming Poldark!

Ever since I first saw a picture of the stepping stones in Penberth Cove, I have wanted to see them for myself. Today, I finally did. I even wobbled my way across them without falling in. We walked down to the cove on a public...More

We would never have stumbled across this lovely little spot if it had not been for our guide, Tim Uff (from Tours Cornwall). As the perfect ambassador to Cornwall, he talked up the series and its appeals, until we were completely hooked, and then he...More

Visited with my Canadian cousin last month. We’re both huge Poldark fans and it’s used in series 2 and 3 quite a lot. Really pretty place, stepping stones over the creek and access to cliff path. Limited parking though - max 6 or 7 cars

We walked to Penberth from Treen on local footpaths, down the valley and into the Cove. It's an old fishing Cove with a marvellous granite set slipway to the water, an old capstan to haul boats up the slope and a few fishermens cottages. Small...More

It's worth the walk from Logan's rock to this picturesque cove, which is still a working harbour. There's nothing here like a cafe but it's very peaceful and a footpath leads you back to the cliff top car park without having to climb back up...More

Access this by the footpath from Treen and you drop through a delightful forest emerging into the dinky but rugged cove. There are no shops or pubs so don't expect to get any nourishment or booze but that gives it the charm of seclusion. Have...More

We have been visiting this tranquil tiny piece of historic Cornwall for around 50 years. First found while exploring on our new Lambretta mid 60's,so, every time we are in the area we drive down, park the car and enjoy the sound of the sea. Take...More
