Unbelievably beautiful place. We enjoyed our boat trip and would be happy to go back there and it again. So beautiful, peaceful, charming lake/fjords. We can compare it with Tamkok in Vietnam. Much enjoyed

Tip - Stay at " Our Jungle House " in a Treehouse for a couple of nights and book a floating Bungalow Lake tour through reception in advance through the resort

The area is huge so you need to plan the trip well. Unfortunately, we couldn't make the cruise (time problem..) but we did traveled by car and saw amazing views. If you have enough time it is absolutely worth the trip.

This Phang Nga bay on the lake, with clear clean water. We did book a tour from our hotel in Khao Sok, the boat was full during high season time. However it would be worth to do this independently to avoid the crowd.

Well this was one of the best trips ever. We took a boat for a 2.5 hours ride. The lake is just out of this world. It really reminded me the fjords in New Zealand. It is absolutely stunning. If you are in the area do not miss it for anything. I do recommend to make your trip to the... More

The place is just as beautiful as the photos. It is definitely worth a visit, even though it takes quite a while to get there.

We took a motorbike ride, stopping at the town of Ban Ta Khun for a snack at the local market before journeying another 10 kilometres to the dam. Surprisingly, we went through a massive checkpoint before journeying onto very accessible roads and outstanding scenery. There was big sign advertising that this place was Thailand's Guilin, I disagree since I have... More

On the lake, look around and grab an image. Put that image in your mind and remember it. Return to the image when you need to release stress. The entire place is gorgeous. We did the lake tour, trek through the rain forest and lunch on the lake. My fondest memory will always be canoeing with my son as the... More

Our Thai hosts suggested we go here, and we're glad we did. A nice ride on a private boat, across the reservoir to the ranger station on the far side. Stopped for some refreshment and photos, and then back. Took 2-3 hours.
