I visited the Oulanka National Park Visitor Center shortly before starting a kayaking trip from Kiutaköngäs to Jäkälämutka. The visitor center gives plenty of information about the national park. There is also a cafe and a small shop.

This entry should really be about the main attraction, the Oulanka Natural Park, rather than just the visitor centre. The park itself is big extending well beyond the centre and incredibly diverse in its natural beauty. The photographs available in the public domain are good...More
