No one clearly said that I would be driving not 1 hour and 2 hours but 0,5 and 1 hour, so only half time of what stated on the website - because there is another person who would be driving the same car and would change with you.
The tiny hidden sentence on the website is formulated unclear on purpose I think.
It is not fair to pay the full price and is not clearly stated on purpose.

A fabulous day spent watching such great racing. The atmosphere was amazing and it was certainly a great show. We travelled from the UK and had such high hopes which most of it was met however a couple of sour points!
1- parking. We were parked in a car park about 40 minutes from our grandstand and spent over 2.5 hours trying to get out of the field to the main road. Absolute shambles!!
2- food choices and facilities. Not much choice and all card only.
If you are travelling over be prepared to queue to get out of the car park and bring some food otherwise you can only have pretzels, hot dogs or chips.
Such a shame that the last few hours of our trip were tainted by the lack of organisation with the parking. Frustrating!!

Dear tnichols46,
thank you for your feedback, we have already forwarded it to the relevant departments.
We always try to offer our guests a variety of different dishes. Around the race track, there are various stands in all areas that offer pasta, salads, wraps and vegan dishes in addition to the classics such as hot dogs, fries and schnitzel. We are so sorry that you were not able to have the same experience outside of the event area.
We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed the MotoGP race weekend at the Red Bull Ring. We would be very happy to welcome you back again soon.
All the best

Had a great race weekend
Parking was easy (in a grass field) and after 20 minutes you got to the entrance.
This may be different when it rains ....
Once in, the fanzone is at a sandy place, do not eat there when its windy as you'll be chewing sand.
No idea why they have no tarmac there.
The walk to the north stand is hilly and takes about 20 more minutes.
The view on the north stand is excellent, and with a roof its rain and sun proof.
The catering is very pricy and so-so (fries were very hard, hot-dog was good)
Toilets, not enough off, there is plenty room to put 2 more toilet blocks.
All in all a good stay, but driving off the parking field will take you an hour.
The parking attendents on P11 did NOTHING for 2 days to make some sense out of this and left it up to the people (which we all know does not work).

Worth a visit, a very interesting day, so much see and do, you can go for coffee and desert, the lunches are very good value.
Much more to view than our last visit six years ago, there’s a small racing track to play, the tunnel has interesting things about the race drivers who have competed there, and how the venue has grown, I remember my first visit at the race track was very basic, I’m going back many years.
Not only do they have race days for cars, motorbikes too.
A must visit

Extremely bad customer support that couldn't confirm since weeks whether or not service could be done in English (at the end it was barely spoken English once we went to driving exprience). When I have asked just to confirm "hey, in your FAQ is written that a +1 person can join to watch, the only reply was "FAQ is incorrect, you cannot bring anyone". No sorry, no nothing.

We were blown away with our experience, in August, at the MotoGP 2022. We found the organisation (especially parking) outstanding compared to any venue in the UK. We stayed in Bruck an der Mur and had the most relaxed journey to and from the 'Ring' ... we would not hesitate to return :)

Went there for the f1 2021. Was a really great experience.
We had general admission and that was really good. Big screens, but a bit hard to read the text.
Free parking. Not much trafic. You had walk a bit to get to the track - but that was ok.
There is driving small trains you can use.

I visited this race track one day after the 2019 Austrian Grand Prix, the ninth round of the 2019 FIA Formula One World Championship, had been held there. In the Welcome Centre, there are some exhibited Formula 1 driving cars, Moto GP motorcycles and even some nice pictures on the wall. On grandstands, there are nice views around the track and to the pit lanes.
On ordinary days (outside the time of events, with their time interval of some additional days before and after event), it is possible to book a 90-minute guided tour that takes you to the VIP-Lounges, the Race Control, the Medical Centre or the Media Centre. There are also some possibilities for an experience with engine, you can check this possibilities and make a registration for them on the track's official website (Projekt Spielberg).

First time in Austria and at this round of the MotoGP calendar. Austria is stunningly beautiful - no matter which way you look - but be prepared as those views come at a cost - usually time! Can't get anywhere fast as there are always mountains to get over, round or through.
We stayed in a beautiful brand new apartment in the middle of the country, about 90mins drive from the circuit. We left at 6 am and arrived trackside for 8.30 so didn't do too bad with the traffic. If you're not staying in a large town then you need transport to get around. My daughter flew her bike over and did a lot of the cycleways around Innsbruck/ Salzburg/Grobming/Vienna as we visited the larger cities - they are good and well structured, cyclists are looked after in Austria :) .
Parking for the racing was good - basically directed into a field off the motorway and then had the choice of either a small train to transport you to the track - huge queue's for it tho - or shank's pony :). About40 mins walk later we were inside the track.
First things first - you cannot pay for food or drinks with cash. You have to purchase a card and then add funds to it and use this card to purchase drinks etc, Bit of a faff on but at the end of the day you redeem the card and get the cost plus any outstanding credit back. At least in Austria it was alcoholic beer whereas in Valencia it's non alcoholic! We took our own prepared sandwiches in backpacks along with drink etc and they were fine with it all. Austria itself is an expensive country.
We had fantastic grandstand seats - right opposite GOD's garage and the podium - but boy is it loud! I recommend you use ear plugs as not a chance you can have any form of conversation (they usually give free ear plugs away at the bars as well).
I didn't see any general admission - not like the usual tracks where people are lining the grass and rammed up against fences, it seemed to be all seating and everywhere looked to have fairly decent views. There are TV's scattered around the track as well to make sure everyone keeps up with what's happening.
Facilities were good and plenty of them - clean and well stocked but I have to say I was disappointed in the vibe. it's nothing like San Marino or Valencia - those places absolutely buzz, but it's relatively new so hopefully it gets better.
One thing I was gutted I'd missed - I hadn't checked the calendar after I'd booked everything and missed the Czech GP was on the week after and it was only 2 hours max to Brno, if you can squeeze 2 GP's into 8 days - it's well worth it!
Overall it's a good trip even if you just appreciate the beautiful country Austria is. If you have time, go back the next day if there's testing on - its free entry as long as you keep hold of your GP ticket and you can stay as long as you like.

Hi all, this will be my first Spielberg experience. I booked for campsite blue. Do you have any recommendations for me? I will rent a car, what should I bring with me? As I have limited space on my flight, should I rent any camping tools/chairs tent? Are we allowed to bring drinks? Any tips and tricks would be helpful. Thanks a lot!

Goedendag,

Hello Stephan!
We're happy to hear you want to experience Formula 1 at the Red Bull Ring next year!
If you buy tickets without a sector/seat description you will still have your own seats reserved only for you.
So no worries, you don't have to be here earlier in order to get a nice seat! :)
