Visited on Friday, Aug 21, and the beach itself was fantastic, something right out of the Caribbean, saw a few seals just off shore, however, the road in is a long gravel road, which is fine, except for the park workers, driving the park vehicle 80km/hr (on a 30km/hr road) creating a huge dust cloud behind it for miles

529 Raddall Park Rd, Port Joli, NS B0T 1S0 Great campground with 10 walking trails throughout. Most sites are secluded from thier neighbors and are set up so that you have privacy from the road. Comfort station with a dishwashing spot is central in the area we stayed, clean bathrooms and showers. The beach is perfect for children as it's shallow and goes out very far (still shallow). Nice and sandy with lots of area to set up for the day or just a quick cool down.

Spent only one night at this very nice ocean side Provincial park while on our road trip through Nova Scotia. Beautiful pristine seaside campground. staff were very friendly. Site was huge and the facilities were clean and looked fairly new. Take what you need before you get there as there are no markets or other stores close by and it is quite a long distance (20 to 30 minutes each way) to the only one available in the area. Be sure to drive to the Port Joli Wharf....find the street sign and then drive down a long dirt road...it was the most magical place I found in Nova Scotia!

I’ve stayed here many times over the years. Love this park. Definitely one of my favourite. Lots are very spacious and private which makes for a quiet stay. I would give this park full points but the washrooms are disgusting. Some of the stalls don’t lock properly and I was dirtier when I got out of the shower then when I went in. Extremely dirty and lots of molds. If you can by pass the showers you will love this park.
