This settlement goes back to the early 1800's. There are many original tools, bldgs., & other associated articles. There are houses and barns to tour and is a great educational experience for the kids.

A “museum village”, not a former living community as implied. Really has only about 6 significant structures. Actually the most interesting part is the agricultural museum, albeit much of the equipment is inadequately labeled.
