For a pre-teen, it was an ideal couple of hours playing outside. Enough slides, no real long waiting time on a very crowded week-end, add the visit of the ice hotel to enhance your experience, very well organized. As good as it gets!

I was here with a large group for a trip and needless to say the group had a blast. This is a really good place with so many different things to do. We started out with a tour of the Ice Hotel which is a cool experience, we had a tour of the facilities which were recently renovated, and then... More

We spent the morning cruising down some of the tube hills while vacationing in Quebec City. Valcartier is about 20-30 minutes from Old Town. While we had a great time, my husband and I agreed that our daughter would have enjoyed it more if she were 3 or 4 years older. She is only five and was too small to... More

Visited Quebec City with our 5 year old daughter in February. Only so many cafes and art galleries she could be expected to endure. We made the drive out to VVV (around 30 minutes from the lower town) right when it opened at 10AM on a Monday. Quite busy already (lots of school groups?) but checking in & buying tickets... More

First off, this is definitely a neat place. However, our experience ended up being less positive than we had hoped. We visited on a Thursday. Apparently during the week there are very large school groups. Most of the visitors were teens whose behaviour was less than exceptional. Swearing, leaving tubes all over (blocking the paths for our little kids), budding... More

Only to the resort to see the ice hotel but what amenities we saw for family fun looked amazing. Located in a rural setting it provides year round activities. The ice hotel has a competition to decorated the rooms carving the ice and snow. Just so imaginative. Santa's room was my favourite.

We finally visited valcartier village after years of talking about it and we had a wonderful family weekend!! Some context - 2 adults + 2 kids -- (both kids under 12 years of age). The first day we went tubing, it was an amazing tubing park -- I've went tubing before and it was nothing like this... lots of runs... More

We just visited the park, I went with my 7 & 9 year old. We were excited since we love visiting the outdoor park however we weren't thrilled with this visit.... Firstly there are SO many rules: You can' t take pictures of their property in the back due to the Ice Hotel, they charge a tour fee. You pay... More

Went with two 11 year old. They had a blast. Nice tubing down some easy and some double diamond hills (not that scary). Bring glasses or goggles otherwise your eye will be closed the whole time going down the hills and you'll miss out on the excitement and thrill.

Very well groomed sliding runs. Property is very clean the admission price is reasonable. I haven't tried the water park or hotel on site but they look nice.
