Great trip. The crew was very friendly and informative. We saw several pilot whales and seals. And some Atlantic white-sided dolphins came near the boat and even swam underwater right next to the boat, which our guide said was unusual. I highly recommend this trip.

Wonderful trip, had a great time and we were lucky enough to see tons of wales, dolphins, birds, seals and more. Totally worth it and would recommend to everyone. Due to the family owned business and the hands-on guys on the boat it doesn't feel like a typical tourist trip.

My trip with Oshan was great - just a few minutes into the cruise there were pilot whales and dolphins all around us. Our captain stopped the boat so we could watch their antics for a while before moving on to find some more.

We also saw grey seals, and had fun watching them bob in the water and pose on the rocks.

The crew was great, friendly and very knowledgeable. I learned a lot about the marine and bird life in the area, as well as about the area itself.

As well, the scenery was spectacular. Even if we hadn't see a single whale, I would have been happy just to have had the chance to see this beautiful part of Cape Breton from the water.

The cruise was about 2 hours long, and it flew by. It was over before I wanted it to be. Thanks guys!

I was very nervous to go whale watching because I am prone to sea sickness. I prepped by taking a gravol half hour before and had ginger candies on hand. It was a rough day due to a Northwest storm - I was a little sea sick when we stopped and watched the Pilot Whales swim by us (!!!!!) but once we were moving I was good. I was better when I watched the waves coming towards the boat as opposed to watching the shore. I am writing so indepth because I wish more people reviewed about their sea sickness. Near the end of the trip they go near the shore and we can check out seals and see the beautiful landscape. This was as great as seeing the whales.
The staff was very friendly and left us to our own devices for most of it, which I appreciate. If we had questions they were very informative.

Great experience, the captain is great. Saw more than 3 families of pilot whales. The boat is adequate in size for small groups and the ride was peaceful.

This was an awesome Whale watching cruise! My husband and I saw whales, seals, the scenery was spectacular! Everywhere we look, there are mountains, cliffs, rock walls, caves that we pass. The Captain and the young girl leading the cruise was very informative when you ask questions. I love the Captain, such a relaxed and casual guide. He was very nice and humorous. My first time to Nova Scotia, I wasn't disappointed. Next time I'm in Cape Breton, I will do this cruise again! I loved it!

So glad we booked with Oscan, Captain was excellent, he was knowledgeable and made us feel safe. We saw lots of pilot whales, grey seals and a bald eagle. Viewing the landscape from the water was amazing, and can now say I’ve been were the Gulf of St. Lawrence meets the Atlantic Ocean at the very tip of Cape Breton Island.

Very enjoyable your into the ocean. Felt very safe. Captain was kind and knowledgeable. Our two small dogs were welcomed aboard which is what caused us to book this tour ( from reading previous reviews)
We saw pilot whales and grey seals.
Tour of shoreline also very beautiful. Would highly recommend this tour!

Captain Cyril was great!! We had an amazing experience. Saw lots of whales, grey seals and even a bald eagle. The scenery was beautiful. Even if we hadn't seen whales I would not have asked for a refund. I would highly recommend to anyone.

This experience is a must if you’re visiting the area. We were amazed at the number of whales (and seals!) that we saw and how close they were to the boat. I’d rate 6/5 if I could!
