We “discovered” Klemarsh Hall by accident, as it's near to the A14, when we were travelling to the Chatsworth flower show. It's a member of HHA, meaning free entry to HHA members. Everything about it is excellent, the house itself is interesting, with a very...More

We had our wedding at Kelmarsh Hall. The venue is utterly stunning and the staff incredibly helpful and professional both in the planning and the day itself. All of our guests were blown away by the sheer beauty of it. Additionally it's lovely to know...More

Recently joined the HHA, so this was free for us to visit. Easy parking, not far to walk, though disabled parking is even closer. Warmly welcomed at reception with full explanations of what was on offer. We did the gardens first, though probably a bit...More

Great afternoon out with the family at a well organised Country Show. Lots to see and plenty of trade stands, including a wide variety of food stalls.

Very interesting tour of the house. Interior magnificent. Gardens lovely. Took a packed lunch, but cafe prices seemed reasonable for the type of place. Easy access by bus.

More dogs than people. Very little about "Game". Too many greasy eateries. Usual clothes outlets. There are better fairs now to attend.

We went to the country show paid £15 to get in which probably contributed to the shows. As there were the devils horsemen.which was great. Lots of stalls with various goods. Was a ok day.

First first visit here with the family to visit the gardens, we did not visit the house. The long driveway up to the hall is currently (7 Apr) full of snakes head fritillaries, beautiful drifts of them. The daffodils are largely over but must have...More

What is the campsite like? Is it far to walk from the campsite to the country fair? What is the evening entertainment for the campers?
