Only a sort drive from Duved which is a shorter drive from Are and WELL WORTH the visit You will be wowed by the waterfall as it comes into view as you follow a short path through the woods from a parking area. We went off season in March so the Café was closed but one of the highlights of... More

Amazing waterfall! Winter makes it incredibly beautiful! If you have a car you must go, it's only 20 min drive from Duved

I visited this waterfall in winter and it was stunning! The waterfall was half-frozen but there was still some water coming down from the river. Absolutely wonderful and a must-go!

We visited this as part of a day trip from Ostersund. It was beautiful and good to see. Nature at its best. I'm not sure I'd travel here just for this but it was fine to combine with other activities in Are. The cafe and toilets were closed ( I guess this is off season). There's an approx 5 min... More

This is a very easily accessible place and offers a nice waterfall view. Don't expect Niagara Falls even tho this is the "largest waterfall in Sweden". The air coming from the falls is cold and the ground is slippery so be careful depending on the time of year you go, it could all be ice and a falling risk for... More

Great place to see! Walking trails and a cafe when in season. Nice for pictures and for enjoying the largest falls in Sweden

This is really an amazing spot to visit and a big adventure for a family. Ice caves in the winter and a lot of water in the summer and small ways to get there

An easy walk down to see, hear and take photos of the waterfalls. Very beautiful, ferocious and robust. I can only imagine what they're like in the winter when there are icicles everywhere. Highly recommend. The cost is per car, not per person by the way.

When you come from Norway Tannforsen is a bit overrated. It's OK, but really what's the big deal? There is a lot of places around with much more waterfalls..
