We visited today and I've got to say I wasn't overly pleased. We weren't there long at all. We traveled from Newcastle and I wish we just stayed local and went to the museums here we were around and out the museum with in 20mins!...More

Our three children, 10, 5 and 4 completed the treasure trail and were delighted to receive their prizes at the end. They were kept occupied throughout looking for clues and loved the dinosaurs.

There is plenty to see here, and with free entry it's even better. From the history of Sunderland to the fabulous winter Gardens, with huge plants and fish, you can't go wrong

We were very disappointed that the cafe was not open on a Sunday. A lot of the plants were very dehydrated - last time we were here about five years ago the atmosphere seemed much moister. But this is still a good place to visit...More

Nice food, good kids boxes, would be nice if they had a sandwich menu to view instead of having to ask what fillers they have. great gardens, kids especially enjoy looking at the fish.

It's a museum in a large park. Lots of space to run around outside and a play park too. The museum isn't very big but it's a nice place to visit. Our daughter loves the dinosaurs.
