Dragonara Casino, the number one casino in Malta, is owned and operated by Dragonara Gaming Limited. The Dragonara Casino is housed within the majestic Dragonara Palace and has been operating since 1964 offering a unique gaming and entertainment destination 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Dragonara Casino is conveniently located within the St. Julian’s are featuring 250 slot machines, 15 live tables, a premier poker room overlooking the St. George’s Bay, a VIP-Lounge for high-roller private gaming, a Sports Lounge and one of Malta’s top rated restaurants. Dragonara Gaming Limited took over the operation of the Dragonara Casino in 2010 and since then has invested over €25 Million in the property. The Casino underwent a major investment upgrade project earlier in 2016 propelling the property into the ranks of the most prestigious and pristine gaming properties in the Mediterranean. Situated on the tip of the ‘Tad-Dragun’ promontory in St Julian’s the Dragonara Palace is one of Malta’s most extraordinary and imposing private properties built in the classical style almost as a grand romantic folly. Built in 1870 as the summer residence of the Marquis Scicluna the Dragonara Palace opened as Malta’s first Casino in 1964. The Dragonara Casino was one of the first major projects to establish Malta as a prime tourist destination. The Palace is a landmark property in Malta surrounded by a colonnaded veranda that abuts directly onto the sea. It retains many of the original architectural and interior design features, which have been successfully adapted to the requirements of casino patrons.

A little tricky to reach on foot, especially if you're not staying at the hotel. This is an American style casino (gambling tables, slot machines). You'll need your passport on first visit and they create a membership card for you. Easy to play, not formal,...More

It is a small casino, but it has everything to make you spend a good night. Personally I played poker, and it is great as you get tournaments starting at 15€ only but you can also get high entrance ones. Drinks and food are relatively...More

Shame about the inside after the grand exterior. Don't think you'll see 007 here, or any posh tottie in silky bling. Nevertheless if you get lucky, and press the wrong button on the machines you might have a similar unexpected win to mine. Fun fun...More

Nice but once you have seen a Casino they are pretty much all the same. At least we won some cash to cover a few nights of our trip.

The casino looks grand from the outside and is located on the cliffs, overlooking the sea. The entry hall looks impressive as well, but the main gambling hall is very disappointing. There's very bright TL-light, no nice decor, only a few table games and no...More
