The park at the top of the hill is great for wee ones and primary aged kids......the conservatory with the animals is brilliant. The walks down by the horse shoe falls have all just opened up again so you can do a circular route......there are plenty picnic tables and space for we ones to run around ..... The court yard... New park is excellent and the kids enjoy the animals. Great walks though children must be supervised at all times for safety as its dangerous at parts. Little shop and cafe are lovely. We visit regularly.

Fantastic day out for a 5 year old. Confined space for them to explore and you can still see. A lot of different animals for their amazement. The Ants were fab!!

We planned to visit but when we arrived in EK the rain was on so we had to divert to the Hub but dry enough when we came out to visit the mini zoo. Brilliant for kids and adults loved it too. Immaculately kept and such good value you could easily pop in every time you visited. Sadly the kids... More

Calderglen Park has it all from walking your dog to visiting the small zoo and outdoor adventure playgrounds. The park has some beautiful walks which are all signposted. I walked my dog here for years and you always meet people who will talk to you. It is a great park for letting the kids run off some energy. There are... More

Went with the children as a day out while visiting Glasgow and loved the whole experience. The park itself is surprisingly large, with some beautiful riverside walks: the Tor loop was good for 6 and 8 year olds, with waterfalls, hilly scrambles and lots of interesting trees to investigate. The adventure playground is also great, two brilliant steep and fast... More

Enjoyed a walk round Calder park on a rather dull day. Plenty of sign posted walks. Particularly liked the walk along the riverside and the small waterfalls. Was not going to bother visiting the zoo but was under £1.50 an adult so we did and although small, we were surprised at the variety of small animals they had. Great for... More
