If you live in a country where you see trams every day, this place might not be as exotic, as I think it is. Trams where gone in Denmark before I was born, so this is the only place to experience real trams in Denmark. You can go for a ride, you can climb into several of the trams and... More

We had been there once before - some 30 years ago. To see all that had happened in this span of time was a pleasant surprise. The museum had got alive. You could now travel generations of street cars from danish and german cities and even one from, believe it or not, Melbourne, Australia. A track from the museum buildings... More

We found that place following the TripAdvisor recommendations and it has been all a surprise. We had great fun with our 2.5 years old son. Don't go with high spectations but it really worth a visit.

We had a most enjoyable visit, great to ride on the trams and see the vehicles on display and being restored. The staff were knowledgeable and happy to tell you about what the museum. Great plans for the future. There is a small coffee shop within a tram at turn around point. A tiny shop - I hope there are... More

Simple, but lots to see and interesting for all ages 3+. Drive with the trams and see lots of different models, costumes etc.

The museum is in a scenic location need a golf complex with lakes and a beautiful forest. We visited in December with the steam train leaving from Copenhagen main train station. The museum has nice collection of trams and train wagons and entire history of Danish train and tram transport dating from 800s. You can try traveling in an old... More

Featuring two rides, one short, the other long, with a large variety of equipment, Denmark's tram (streetcar) museum is a great place to visit for anyone interested in urban rail transportation. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and many of the trams on display can be boarded. Perhaps the only short-coming is that most of the exhibit explanations are in... More
