An easy walk (free) to the tower with a route for those less mobile too. Worth 10 DKK to climb to the top too for panoramic views over the lakes and hills. Friendly little souvenir shop on site. Nearby car park.

Historical Danish monument celebrating the birth of the democracy in Denmark. Also, a beautiful sight from one of the highest points in Denmark. Take the boat from silkeborg or Ry and have the exercise of walking from the landing to the top.

Buy a cheap ticket and enter the tower to get a splendid view over the forest and the lakes. Not much more than that, but that is well worth the money.
