Nice that you had a good stay in Kolding - the city has a nice atmosphere, especially with cafes and cozy restaurants with outdoor seating when the weather is good.
I was in Denmark on working trip but found time to take the bus down
and while there there was very good weather and I found the whole little town very interesting the castle at the lake was very nice and tourists and locals buzzing...More

The Visit Kolding Team
Worth a walk around the old parts of Kolding around the lake by Koldinghus and surrounding streets with the square, church and cobblestone streets. The walking street is also worth a look if you are into shopping.

I hope it comes more shops so people could spent more time in the down town, right now it seems only take an hour or two so you can complete the trip.

Thank for your review, Downtown Kolding whas nine pedestrian streets with specialized shops of every kind, as well as cafés and restaurants.
Hope to see you again in Kolding another time.
We stayed a week in a vacation rental apartment above a clock shop on the pedestrian mall in downtown Kolding. Very good spot. Plenty of history and charm, but also plenty of good restaurants, fashionable boutiques, galleries, historical (and new) buildings, a well-stocked grocery store...More
