Nice castle, and the grounds are lovely for walking. Only problem I had was that you had to book a tour so you must wait for them to be ready to take a group. They also take your things and lock them up in a...More

We visited Schloss Rastatt. The guided tour is only in german, so you have to keep this in mind if you ever decide to visit the castle.

The tourism in the region is focused on german audience. There are little english indications that are given to the tourists but without knowing the local language, the confused tourist is left in the dark. Other than that the propriety is exceptionally well maintained and...More

Never go to this place unless you speak German !!!! The guide was extremely rude in spite of knowing we only spoke English. 1. I was not informed that the tour would be in German only with absolutely zero English translation and no signage in...More

Schloss Favorite is an absolute waste of money and time if you can't speak German. You pay nearly €10 for the hideous experience of being herded in a small group with a guide and each door is locked behind you. You re held hostage for...More
