Well worth visiting, but best if you enjoy walking. If you don’t you can use the park minibus to get you to some good spots, like the castle to see griffin and black vultures.

Amazing area and really helpful staff at the, not so wonderful only campsite in the area. It's clean and has everything that you need, but seems a little 'run down'. Views and bird-watching made it all worthwhile.

Very accessible, outstanding new visitor center North, benefits greatly from guided visit to fully appreciate its mammals (magnificante deer, wildboars...). Second to none for rare birds (imperial eagles, black and other vultures, water birds...). Original meditarrean forest under recovery...

The park is easy to navigate. I am so glad that we included this location on our recent birding trip. We met birders from all over Europe. This proved to me that Monfrague is a must see for a Spain birding trip. You cannot usually...More

We drove almost two hour to get to this park an we didn't regret. If you enjoy nature, you will love it. The view from Salto Del Gitano and Castillo Monfrague is something you will remember for ever. Recommended to be visited !

I do recall seeing a bus timetable at one of the parking places. There are details of the buses on the internet, search for autobuses en Monfragüe, I would include a link but the system will not allow it.

There isn't a bus service. Perhaps a taxi would be willing to take you and wait around for a set fee. Alternatively there are lots of bird watching businesses that will provide transport and expert advice
