The movie company filming here was allowed to cover the façade with a movie backdrops, and covered the famous shrine on the corner of the church that Pilgrims on the way to Santiago touch. If you are here when they are filming one of the many movies filmed in town, you wont see much of anything. You wont be allowed... More

Beautiful church to visit, with the entry fee you get an audio tour (English) which was very well done and informative and access to the bell tower, which was a highlight for me!! Beautiful views over the old town and the most INCREDIBLE spiral staircase!!!

We attended a service but never felt that the entrance fee was worth it apart from the fact that the money must help preserve the building and art

View from tower was OK but better from taller tower at San Francisco Javier church on other side of Plaza de San Jorge. Costs a euro to get in... fair deal for being able to enjoy the beauty.

an old small church well preserved, like up to your roof see your vault from above, whether the entire old town has great charm and can be covered in a morning and an afternoon to visit the atractvos, half an hour you will visit either the church.

This Pro-cathedral church is a masonry in a Gothic style built church with roman roots from a formal building. On the inside the temple there are several Gothic sepulchres. There is also a highly valuable piece - a black crucified Christ dating from the Romanesque period. Location: Plaza Santa María Entrance fee: 1 €.

I think it was just €1 to go in. Nothing special inside, other than one rather good chapel (see photo), but a walk up the tower was very well worth it for the magnificent views. It's not right up the hill in the old quarter but being at one end of the old bit of Caceres makes the views fabulous.... More
