This is a very nice museum with artefacts from prehistory through Islamic and early Christian periods. It is a great break from the mid-day heat.

We totally lost track of time in this amazing museum. You will learn a lot about this region, its origins and evolvement into the city it is today. They also provide electronic devices that will translate into several different languages to understand the exhibits!

Lovely building. Some great artefacts. Some recorded videos in different languages very helpful as all displays were in Spanish. Free to enter on 1st Sunday of the month or just €5 otherwise.
